My Old Portrait Drawings

I've been practicing portrait drawing for quite some time. My sole method of conducting portraits is by drawing off of photographs of people.

Why do I like doing portrait drawings

I consider portrait drawings as bench marks in terms of testing an artist's skills. Aside than that, I found out throughout the years that girls LOVE seeing themselves being depicted in drawings. Hence this genre has gradually become my "go to" tactics, when it comes to me intending to impress a lady.

Drawing off of photos vs. drawing real sitters/models

I do not believe drawing off of is inferior to drawing sitters (drawing live models in real time,) as it requires more compositional precision, since the degree likeness of one's work to its original source photograph would be much more obvious than say, a portrait artist's work to his/her sitter.

Medium

I draw mainly with coloured pencils. However I also do acrylic portraits occasionally.

Without further ado, the following are some of my works, shoot me an email if you want to commission me to have yours or loved ones' portrait done in similar fashion.
