Studio Course Project 2 Old Design Ideas

Project requirement:

Design 3 pairs of "L" shapes in Minecraft. My initial idea was to craft 3 sets of Ls, each pair in their own world, which means that they are separate ideas that do not intervene with each other.

Design #1:

Like I'd mentioned in my previous post, this design took inspiration from traditional Japanese Torii, and it explores the "ground-object relationship," as the Torii is constructed with architecture written in 4 different languages. (Chinese, English, Russian, and Japanese.)

Design #2:

A pair of L shaped stairways, connects the ground level to the subterranean.

Design #3:

This one's a bit of a personal project, which expresses my internal fanboyism towards Game of Thrones. I intended to explore the sculptural capacity of Minecraft by constructing 2 mini-sculptures: a lion representing house Lannister, and a direwolf representing the house Stark. As a noobie who's just started learning how to use the Adobe suite, it took me a long time to pixelate a lion and have it roughly projected into pseudo-3D-ish state.
